Marvelous Milk Paint Makeovers

As 2016 comes to a close and we welcome the new year, I cant help but reflect on some lessons learned in the last year!  One would be MILK PAINT.  This past year I finally braved true milk paint and even became a brand blogger for
The Old Fashioned Milk Paint Company!

This really pushed me to experiment more and enjoy the milk paint process.

I also became more familiar with many other milk paint enthusiasts as well as
others that were just learning through it like me! So here we go,
how about we take a look at some of most
Marvelous Milk Paint Makeovers
of the year!

First I will share my favorite of my own pieces painted in Old Fashioned Milk Paint.  I created it using layers of custom mixes of Pitch Black and Snow White,. I really enjoyed learning to be comfortable with following my own aesthetic,..

I also absolutely love the idea of taking a small piece already absorbed into your home and giving it new life like a side table or a nightstand…

Here Jenni at Riveted shows us how to use Milk Paint BASE from The old Fashioned Milk Paint Company to make an AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS and COMPLETELY CUSTOM creation!
Then there was that time that Carrie at Thirty Eighth Street completely blew us away!  I seriously swoon every time I see it!

I Absolutely LOVE how Debra at Shoppe No. 5 made this mirror seem to almost have an antiqued enamel finish that had naturally crackled and pitted over time!
